This video excerpt is from one of the many New Year’s celebrations we enjoyed with Bill. He made fun and creative contributions to the events and here he is exuberantly leading the fairly non-musical gang in “song”.

I shared the podium with Bill for PRINT magazine’s Color Conference on October 5/6, 2011 at the Art Director’s Club in Manhattan. We clicked and enjoyed conversations. Jude Stewart, the writer, presented a color parade the event. Here is a little video that I sent to Bill as a memento.

From this one encounter I experienced the man as deeply thoughtful with a pixie-like sense of humor, and looked forward to future encounters.
